I am so grateful to everyone who came out to Mayfest last weekend and stopped by the booth! I am encouraged by the many people who gave their support to the project by committing to share photos, pointing me to some good resources, buying a “Beauty Spots of Mount Carroll” book, or sharing stories about growing up in Mount Carroll. I am glad to have met so many of you and look forward to how we can work together to see this project come to life!
A special thanks goes out to my wife, Emily, and our children for being constant supporters over the last year that I have been working to get this far. Your love and help is second to none and means so much to me.
There is still so much to be done in the next several months to get this book from my head, through my camera, and into the hands of the people of Mount Carroll. I will be sending out periodic updates here as the project progresses. Be sure to sign up for email updates, follow the Facebook page, and share this with your friends and family if you haven’t already.
God bless!
